The Florida League of Cities held their September 2026 Board of Directors meeting at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida.  The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Florida League and is composed of a President, First Vice President, and Second Vice President; all past Presidents who are still in office; 35 directors representing 14 geographical districts; one director from each of the state’s most populous cities; three newly established at-large board seats, and a non-voting member authorized from the Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA). 

Representing the Ridge League and the Florida League’s Seventh District on the Board of Directors are Frostproof Council Member Adam Greenway, and Haines City Commissioner Morris West.   Bowling Green Mayor Sam Fite was selected for one of the three newly established at-large seats, and FLC past Presidents Bartow Commissioner Leo Longworth and Dade City Mayor Scott Black both continue to serve on the FLC Board.   Thank you to these public officials for their service on the FLC Board and their representation on behalf of the Ridge League of Cities.
