The City of Wauchula hosted the Ridge League of Cities April Membership Dinner at the Mosaic Community Center at the Hardee Lakes County Park. What a beautiful setting! A total of 123 were in attendance including 105 City Members and 18 Associate Members. More than half of the RLC member cities were represented. Bowling Green won the traveling trophy for the cities and Chastain Skillman won the Associate Member trophy. It was an exciting night as the five 2023 RLC Vocational Scholarships were announced. The 2023 Ridge League Speaker Series continued with South Florida State College President Tom Leitzel. The outdoor event was a first for a membership dinner and attendees were also treated to beautiful sunset. Thank you, Wauchula!
The City of Bowling Green was awarded the Member Cities Traveling Trophy. The award goes to the city/town that have the most attendees at the dinner. Congratulations Bowling Green!

South Florida State College President Dr. Thomas Leitzel was the guest speaker for the April Membership Dinner in Wauchula. He closed his outstanding presentation by encouraging the membership to visit any of the State Colleges located within the Ridge League.
